Below you will find a list (not exhaustive) of the main projects coordinated by the association in 2017:
RurAlternative
1st October 2017, the RuralAlternative exchange began with ECOLOC, a farm located in Barret-sur-Méouge (High Alps). Twenty-seven participants from Romania, Italy and France spent ten days discovering activities close to nature and rural life.
Words Matter
The Words Matter exchange focused on communication and more specifically on non-violent communication. It brought together people from France, Italy, Tunisia, Egypt, Georgia and Croatia, in total we were almost 50 people (participants, facilitators, cooking team).
Intercultural mentoring
The association coordinates an intercultural mentoring program: a space for exchange and mutual aid between a migrant person (the mentee) and a ‘local’ (the mentor). The project seeks to foster intercultural dialogue, participation and social inclusion. It presents itself as an opportunity accessible to anyone who wishes to get engages as an active citizen.
Development of hosting the volunteers
Hors Pistes is approved as an EVS coordination structure and accompanies various organizations in their project of hosting European volunteers.
Tandem Workshop (Pédalangues projedct)
The Tandem workshops are part of the Pédalangues project, its objective is to promote and develop the language skills of the association’s volunteers, based on the resources already existing in the collective.
Internships
In the end of 2017, 30 job seekers were prepared for a three or six months internship in different European companies. They will have the opportunity to live an experience in a professional environment in Portugal, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany and even Malta!

Learning Zone
The objective of the « Learning Zone » project is to develop a didactic strategy to support the acquisition of key competences by newly arrived migrants and refugees in order to facilitate their inclusion in the host society. The main result of the project is the development of an online « MOOC » (online course) for teachers and trainers.
