The « JEPS international » dynamic aims to provide a European mobility experience for staff and learners of vocational training in the field of YOUTH, NON-FORMAL EDUCATION AND SPORT (« JEPS » is the acronym used in French).
Hors Pistes is coordinating a consortium currently comprising 8 schools of vocational training which are providing schooling and certificates called “BPJEPS” and “CPJEPS”. These trainings are dedicated to future youth workers and are proposing a specialisation, such as leisure activities for all audiences, leisure activities for vulnerable groups, sports activities, or education on environment and sustainable development. The objective of this dynamic to raise awareness towards future youth workers and animators on the challenges and opportunities at European levels, so that they will be able to share this open-mindedness and the opportunities towards the children, young people, adult and families they will work with.
Together we plan the development of international mobility coherent with the pedgagogical curriculum. In total, the departure of 10 groups (between 8 and 15 interns) is planned between for 2022.
Hors Pistes is ensuring the supervision on the logistics, administrative and pedagogical modalities of the mobilities and the coordination between the training organisations of the region and the international partners, for the implementation of these mobilities. A trainer from Hors Pistes intervenes for a workshop to prepare the interns for departure, with each promotion for logistical intercultural and linguistic preparation; as well as for an evaluation in the end of the mobility. These workshops are conducted according to the methods of non-formal education.
This dynamic is conducted in partnership with the French State (Ministery of youth and sport), the Sud Region (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) and Eurocircle association, brought together in a steering committee. This partnership facilitates the integration of these mobilities in the pedagogical programs of the training courses concerned. The mobilities are financed by the European Union by the Erasmus+ program
We are looking for partners able to arrange to following services :
– accommodation of the students (shared or single rooms)
– facilitation of group sessions (1 day of welcoming session and 1 day for the evaluation of the experience)
– internship placement in organisations relevant with the diploma pursued
